XML Programming with Java
The JXP course covers programmatic access to XML content using the Java language. The course demonstrates the different means of reading XML with Java: SAX, DOM, Xstream and Java to XML binding.
In modern application, the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) is used extensively; to store data, to configure the application, to facilitate system integration. IN order to harness fully the power of the XML format, developers need to access XML structures and data programmatically. The JXP course discusses the various approaches available through the Java platform to achieve this goal.
The course demonstrates the different means of reading XML with Java: SAX, DOM, and Java to XML binding. It promotes using these approaches in a standard way with JAXP and JAXB APIs, and also discusses Java to XML products (such as Xstream).
