History
Liemur was formed in 2002 to provide knowledge transfer services to
both business and industry and in particular the areas of Object Oriented
(OO) software development and the Unified Process (UP)
for software development.
Liemur is vendor independent, which allows us to provide
unbiased recommendations best suited to client needs and requirements.
Liemur was founded by two men with differing backgrounds yet similar experience.
Sylvain is French, but is fluent in English and Hungarian. With a PhD in Computer Science from Nantes University his early commercial experience was gained in the insurance industry.
Cliff Murphy is English, a qualified rugby coach with a first degree in Physics from Southampton University and started his career in semi-conductor engineering.
Both worked as Senior Consultants at Valtech and developed OO and UP as the basis of their approach.
Liemur has created Project Cycle Optimisation – a four step process - to build, guide, train and mentor the right teams to deliver fully functioning solutions on-time, within budget and inside the framework of required business goals.
In addition to the immediate benefits that accrue from working with Liemur, the skills, processes and understanding that the teams acquire during this tenure will continue to reward the company on future projects.
